The National Association of University Students has honoured Nigeria’s foremost blockchain expert and consultant, Adeshina Ajayi with the National Outstanding Leadership Award as an Icon of Humanity and Societal Development in recognition of his tireless contributions to the Nigerian educational sector.

Ajayi, the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Focus, was commended for his commitment to the growth and development of the Nigerian Students in the areas of blockchain technology education and training at the courtesy visit and award presentation.

The National Treasurer of the association, Comrade Oluwa-Damilare Kuti, in a statement on Wednesday said, “The association in the last few years has monitored the activities of Mr. Ajayi as he continues to empower the Nigerian student community with the necessary tech skills for creating a better future. With the award, Mr. Ajayi will be encouraged not to rest his oars in making the society a better place.”

In the last 6 years, Ajayi, the author of Blockchain Pathway, has helped corporate institutions and individuals to understand the relevance of blockchain technology and continues to position them to take their stake in the fast-emerging tech space through his blockchain consulting firm, Digital Focus.

He has provided blockchain solutions to top institutions from different sectors like CMC Connect, Alpha Training Lab, Nerdzfactory, Addicio-Solutions, Codetutor to mention a few.

His Digital Focus Academy has trained and certified over 2,000 blockchain experts across Nigeria.
