North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye turned in another stellar performance Saturday, accounting for more than 350 yards of offense with three total touchdowns in UNC’s 31-28 win over the Virginia Cavaliers at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville. It was the fifth-straight victory for the No. 17 Tar Heels, who improved to 8-1 on the season and 5-0 in ACC play.

The redshirt-freshman, signal-caller completed 26 of 37 passes for 293 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while also rushing for another 74 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries. His favorite target on the day was junior wide receiver Josh Downs, who finished with 15 receptions for 166 yards and one score.
